To move around in the recovery console, you need to use the volume keys. To make a backup, go to the “backup & restore” menu. Unless you are coming from an RC or Nightly version of LineageOS, then perform a “wipe data/factory reset” and a ‘wipe cache’. In the Advanced menu, also perform ‘wipe dalvik cache’ and return to the main recovery menu.

Step-8: Go back to the main recovery menu and select install zipper from sdcard >> choose zipper from sdcard. Using the Volume keys select the CyanogenMod ROM. Select it using Power key and confirm the installation on the next screen
